Child Miraclously Saved From Permanent Impairment By Doctors
Recently, a team of doctors at John Hopkins Hospital cured a child suffering from a rare degenerative disease. This operation required risky and extensive brain surgery, which was performed by a team of highly-qualified doctors.
The team included Dr. Amanda Keller, who performed the surgery and Dr. Adrian Witmer, who is the chief neurosurgeon at the hospital.
It is not often that someone not specialized in neurosurgery is involved in the procedure. Dr. Keller is the head of the surgery department and her specialization is in pulmonary and cardiovascular surgery, which involves problems of a similar nature and complexity.
